"The assignment we give social work students is to adopt a plural perspective and examine situations from different angles. Herein lies the value of the WAVE project: it deliberately uses outsiders to shed new light on care and welfare practices and offer insights that might otherwise remain hidden. As a result, problems can be tackled in unusual ways. Our students learn from this, for example by looking at things from the unique perspective of an artist. It encourages them to put on different spectacles and to look at and deal with situations in new ways."
